Situated at the front of the Velmore Community Centre, the Café is the ideal place to stop for a chat, find out what’s happening in the community, pick up a good book or simply watch the world go by.

A friendly welcome awaits new and regular customers who we hope will enjoy the relaxed and comfortable surroundings. As a community café we work hard to ensure we offer excellent value for money too.

Offering a varied menu of teas, coffees and cold drinks, we also serve snacks, light lunches and weekly specials.  Our freshly baked homemade cakes and pastries are not to be missed if you’re feeling indulgent!  Please note that our food Menu is available Tuesday to Friday only.

Every Tuesday we hold a Community Lunch which consists of a two course lunch with tea or coffee for £6.50.  This lunch is open to to all (pre-bookable in advance) and a different set menu is selected each week.  This is an ideal time to get together and meet new people – whilst the group has many regular attendees, we also welcome new faces too!

Friday’s are renowned for our Friday Fry-Ups that go down well with many of our customers.

Customers with special dietary requirements are welcome to discuss menu options.
