Velmore Community Association (VCA) is a charity which exists to support and promote the interests of the residents of Velmore in the heart of Chandlers Ford.  The Centre offers rooms for hire, group activities and a community café which is open daily for drinks, snacks and light bites.

Velmore Community Centre is run by a small team of staff and a dedicated team of volunteers whos time and skills contribute to the smooth running of this valuable facility.

We share the Centre with Velmore Church, who hold church and bible services every Wednesday and Sunday.

Velmore Community Centre is proud to offer an extensive list of Community and Volunteer Run Groups aswell as Community Events during the year like Christmas and Summer Fayres, Lunches, Afternoon Teas and Charity Coffee Mornings.  Whether you’re a resident of Velmore or live in the wider community, our groups and events are open to all with a warm welcome, an emphasis of community, well being and having fun.

Our resident Knit and Natter Group lovingly make beautiful homemade children’s items ranging from Jumpers and Cardigans, Blankets and Soft Toys.  Their stall is located at the front of the Centre in the Community Cafe and is available during opening hours.  All items are reasonably priced and any proceeds go back into the running of the Centre.
